My Story

Meet Josie

IMG_2986.jpg

After working as an Wedding and Events Coordinator for several area venues, for about a decade, and seeing the need for couples to have a knowledgeable professional on their team, I developed a passion for making sure my clients could enjoy their celebration without stressing about all of the details and itinerary.

I have also planned and coordinated many corporate, government and non-profit events. I've been planning and coordinating events professionally since 2013, forming a network with some of the best event vendors in the Quad Cities. In addition to event planning and coordination, I have a strong background in hospitality and menu planning. I love collaborating with individuals and couples to bring their vision to life. My passion is helping others to be truly immersed in their special day and not have to worry about all of the inner workings that make it possible.

Let's get up close and personal!

My favorite things in the world are laughter, hot tea, my children, the Rocky Mountains and amazing food.

I married my husband in 2020 (yes, despite being in the middle of a pandemic). We had a beautiful elopement style ceremony in Rocky Mountain National Park, accompanied by our parents and daughters. My husband and I are both natives to the Quad Cities. He's an Illinois guy and I'm proud of my Iowa roots. We have two daughters that we adore and keep us young. Both of our girls are the motivation I needed to finally turn my passion into action and bring my services and industry knowledge to others.

I hope as they grow into young women they are inspired to follow their dreams and do what makes them truly happy.

Outside of planning events and spending time with my family, I love traveling, being outdoors and being involved in the community.

I'm the President of a local Rotary club and involved in various community service efforts.

I'm also a big believer in Service Above Self, Women Empowering Women and Community Over Competition.
